Local Service

Mobile home transport, Houston.

Houston is one of our biggest service markets. Long-haul from San Antonio via I-10, with full permits and hurricane-spec tie-downs at the destination.

Houston is sprawling — roughly 50 miles wide. We’ve hauled mobile homes from Katy out to Galveston, from The Woodlands all the way down to Friendswood, and we know which beltways and tollways work for oversize loads and which absolutely don’t. Most Houston-area moves run from our San Antonio yard via I-10 east, with permits cleared in advance through both Harris County and the City of Houston when needed.

Coastal humidity and Houston’s drainage history shape how we set the home. Your manufactured home needs to be properly leveled, blocked, anchored and tied down for the local soil and wind zone — we don’t shortcut this on Gulf Coast properties. Hurricane-rated tie-downs are standard for any setup we do in Brazoria, Galveston or coastal Harris County.

Houston traffic is its own beast. We schedule oversize hauls around peak hours on I-10, Beltway 8 and Loop 610, and we pull pilot cars for any move that needs inner-loop access during business hours. We serve Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Humble, Kingwood, Friendswood and League City — basically anywhere in the Houston metro.

Local Know-How

Why local matters in Houston.

Local quirks that matter when you’re hauling 14-feet-wide through the country’s 4th-largest metro.

Tip 01

Sam Houston Tollway routing

For most Houston-area oversize routes, the Sam Houston Tollway and Grand Parkway (SH-99) work better than Loop 610 or Beltway 8. We pay the tolls and pass the time savings on.

Tip 02

Wind Zone II tie-down

Coastal Harris, Brazoria and Galveston counties require Wind Zone II tie-down spec. Every home we set in those counties gets full hurricane-rated anchoring — no extra charge.

Tip 03

Houston traffic timing

We schedule oversize hauls into Houston between 9 AM and 3 PM to dodge both rush hours. Pilot cars are mandatory for inner-loop work during business hours.

Houston FAQ

Common questions, local answers.

More general questions answered on our main FAQ.

Do you serve all the Houston suburbs?
Yes — Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, Tomball, Spring, The Woodlands, Conroe, Humble, Kingwood, Friendswood, League City and beyond. Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery and Brazoria counties are all in our regular service area.
Can you handle hurricane-rated tie-downs in coastal Texas?
Absolutely. Wind Zone II tie-down spec is standard on every coastal job we set in Brazoria, Galveston, and coastal Harris County. We install to local code, full anchor pattern, no extra charge.
How long does a Houston haul take from San Antonio?
Houston runs are typically a same-day haul (about 200 miles from the yard) but we sometimes split across two days if pickup and delivery permits don’t align. Total turnaround from quote to home-on-pad is usually 7 to 10 business days.
